Nowadays, there is a simultaneous emergence of new therapies along with new diseases in both humans and animals. These emerging therapies do have their limitations in terms of effectiveness, side effects, and cost. Furthermore, most diseases originate from cellular disturbances, but it is worth noting that existing therapies often only target the organ or systemic level. However, by delving deeper into the cellular and atomic level disturbances, we can identify the actual root cause. Dr. Umakanthan has come up with a single cure that can address multiple diseases, perfectly suited for the modern era. The innovative approach incorporates ancient practices followed by sages and saints, who used to sprinkle holy water on patients to heal their ailments.

To the people of Gokul - Lord Krishna - the Supreme Godhead - is still a mischievous child who runs around the town. Gokul, a town in the Mathura district of the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh is a prominent religious destination. The place of Gokul is a vibrant celebration of Krishna's life. It is adorned with numerous locations where he lived and played. Even today, one can witness Krishna's early childhood displays of strength and wisdom in Gokul. The house of Nand Maharaja, also known as Nand Bhavan, is the most famous landmark in Gokul. It was Lord Krishna's childhood abode, where the naming ceremony for Sri Krishna and Balram took place. Raman Reti, or Raman Van, was where Lord Krishna spent his youthful days, enjoying himself with Balarama and their companions. The Mud Temple was where Lord Krishna defeated demons. Utkhal was the place where Mother Yashoda punished little Lord Krishna by chaining him for stealing butter. At Brahmand Ghat, Yashoda witnessed the entire cosmos inside Krishna's mouth. And so on.
A replica of the Gokul is Gokulam Annadhan Temple at Bodinayakur, Theni district, Tamil Nadu, founded by Dr.Umakanthan. The temple building exhibits a unique architecture that is one-of-a-kind. When you look at it from above, it resembles a beautiful lotus flower with three open petals floating in a serene water pond surrounded by a peaceful forest.
Basement of the temple has the soil brought over from Sri Krishna's Gokulam, Sri Rama's Ayodhya and Lord Shiva's twelve jyotirlingas, and the holy waters from various spiritual destinations across the length and breadth of India.
Inside the temple, you will find a captivating sanctuary where 16 divine deities reside: Lord Sri Krishna-Radha-their beloved Cow, Lord Sri Ram-Sita Devi-Lakshman-Hanuman, Lord Shiva-Parvati-Ganesha-Muruga-Nandi, Goddesses Annapurani-Saraswathi-Nagarani (Nagarani being the consort of Lord Balaram), Lord Krishna's majestic peacocks Dandavika, Lord Muruga's peacock Chitrabarhana, and at again Gopala Krishna (Krishna tendering his beloved Cow). Each and every sculpture in the temple is meticulously crafted out of stone and stands at an average height of 5 feet. These sculptures are incredibly mesmerizing and truly a sight to behold.
The temple complex includes three buildings - the Annadhan building, the Temple building surrounded by lush greenery and a garden full of trees, shrubs, birds, and natural beauty, and a three-story commercial and residential building. Dr.Umakanthan aims to offer daily annadhan to thousands of poor and devotees, prioritizing the hunger. After partaking the mahaprasad, the devotees proceed to the temple for a delightful darshan of 16 deities, and they then relax in the peaceful grassland cover.
The entire paradise-like complex required detailed, precise planning, a lot of forethought and co-ordination down to the last detail.
Every Sunday 10.00-12.00 pm Bhagavad Gita classes are held followed by Annadhanam 1.00-2.00 pm offered to the devotees.
Please share this to all the devotees & groups!
Towards the end of the Mahabharata war, though Karna was losing in the battle, he still remained invincible on account of the merits of his charity. Lord Krishna, in order to deplete this source of strength of punya or merit, assuming the guise of a Brahmin approached Karna for charity. Karna pleaded helplessness as he had nothing more with him to give except his life which he was ready to offer at the feet of the Brahmin.
Krishna in disguise said, “Dear Karna, I don’t need your life, but please donate me all the merits that you acquired by your goodwill of causeless and measureless donations.”
For which Karna readily said “Oh dear Brahmin, I am very happy and now I donate all the merits I acquired through donating. Also I give you the merit that I am going to acquire now by donating you previous merits. Please accept it!” Karna has such an innate generosity and charitable nature.
After Karna was slain in the Mahabharata War, he ascended to heaven. There he was offered gold, silver and many other precious things as a result of his donations that he made in his life. But he was never offered Food. He felt hungry and yet he was offered only the golds and silver. He couldn’t eat them.
He asked Indra, the chief of Devas for the reason. Indra informed him “Had you given any food in charity during your lifetime?”
Karna answered “I had always donated only gold, jewellery and such precious treasures.”
Indra reiterated “You are therefore not destined to get any item of food or drink, as there was no such merit in your store to draw from.” And added “And if you want to get food in the heaven, you need to donate Food.”
So Karna descended again to the Earth and donated food.
Such is the importance of giving food in charity.
And Dr.Umakanthan, since 2001, is giving annadhan every year on the day of Govardhan Puja at Govardhan, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh.

Dr. Umakanthan's journey in research began at the tender age of 15 in 1975 when he delved into the field of Alchemy. At the age of 19, he made a groundbreaking discovery in the form of a chemotherapeutic regimen for jaundice. His passion for scientific exploration led him to further delve into the field of veterinary science. At the age of 36, he conducted extensive research on xenotransplantation, even daring to explore the possibility of doing so without the need for immuno suppressive drugs. However, he eventually halted this line of inquiry due to ethical, logical, and legal concerns surrounding xenozoonosis. He has innovated a fundamental yet very handy technology called MIRGA. The culmination of his research and the outcomes thus far, up until late 2020, have been documented in this book.
